Mr. Ferguson's lighter-than-air
qualifications are verified by his many related awards
and accomplishments. He is a Past Director of the Air
Industries Association of Canada and past Chairman of
the AIAC Canadian Civil Airworthiness Directorate. He is
a recipient of the, "Canadian Government Industry Award
for Excellence in Invention, 1984" for his advances in
aerospace technologies. He is also a recipient of the,
"Philips Petroleum Award for Problem Solving" provided
by the American Association for the Advancement of
Science. He received the American Institute of
Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), "Award of Merit for
Innovative Technologies for the exploration of space" –
specifically NASA Outreach Program (Mars vehicle
design). Mr. Ferguson is the only "Canadian, Sole
Source Prime Contractor" to the Strategic Defense
Initiative Office (SDIO). Contracted directly by the
SDIO Chief for high altitude vehicle platform design.
Mr. Ferguson also received written accreditation from
the presidents of the Lockheed Advanced Development
Corporation, (LADC) and Federal Express Aeronautics as
the worlds leading expert in Ultra Large Airship
Design. Mr. Ferguson's design accomplishments are
unequaled.
